Is Liam Payne ready to marry Cheryl soon?

Los Angeles - Liam Payne's cousin wouldn't be surprised if the star marries Cheryl Fernandez-Versini "in a few weeks" - but thinks their 10-year age gap is "weird".

Ross Harris - a former contestant on talent show The Voice - is convinced the One Direction hunk's romance with the I Don't Care hitmaker is the real deal, and thinks they'll probably tie the knot quite soon.

He explained: "I don't think their relationship is for publicity just because they've been seen holding hands and going to restaurants - unless they're having fun with the media and fooling everyone, which would actually be quite funny.

"I suppose only time will tell. They'll probably be married in a few weeks, it's that kind of vibe."

While he's thrilled for his cousin, Ross has admitted his family think the couple's 10-year age gap is "weird".

Speaking to new! magazine, he said: "It's quite funny that the other One Direction guys are dating really young models and he's gone for the mature relationship - but she still looks like a model. He's done well! She's obviously very famous and very nice looking."

Liam, 22, began dating the 32-year-old singer earlier this year, but the loved-up pair decided to keep their blossoming romance tightly under wraps until recently when they seemingly went public by posting a series of loving pictures on social media.

Cheryl - who met the hunk when he appeared on The X Factor in 2010 - recently split from her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini following a year of marriage, and she was previously wed to Ashley Cole.
