Johannesburg - In the latest episode of her online talk show, Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith (47) revealed that she and hubby Will Smith (50) don’t actually celebrate anniversaries anymore, USA Today reports.

The Girls Trip star – whose co-hosts on the show are daughter Willow Smith (18) and mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones (64) – said that the pair don’t even spend the day together as she prefers to be at home, while he enjoys a night on the town, People reports.

Jada, who wed the Bright actor on 31 December 1997, said that their relationship has become more of a partnership than a marriage.

“We don’t really celebrate that day anymore in that sense, because the context of our union is totally different,” she said.

“Usually on New Year’s Will likes to be in an adventure in the world somewhere. There’s no telling where he’s gonna be. And I like to be inside. I don’t want to be out in the world. He now has the freedom to go and have an awesome adventure of some kind,” she added.

Will echoed his wife’s words in an interview with podcast service Rap Radar in July by saying that he and Jada no longer think of themselves as just a married couple, Rap Up reports.

“We refer to ourselves as life partners, where you get into that space where you realise you’re literally with somebody for the rest of your life,” he said.

“There’s no deal-breakers. There’s nothing she could do, ever. Nothing [that] would break our relationship. She has my support ’till death and it feels so good to get to that space,” he added.
