Johannesburg - Jada Pinkett Smith has made talking about the birds and bees look so much easier after giving her daughter Willow Smith and her best friend Telana Lynum ‘the talk’ on their show Red Table Talk.
Jada has always been open about her sex life in the past so it’s no surprise that she is able to speak to her daughter about sex with no hiccup. Jada’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, however, was very uncomfortable about her daughter giving her grandchild, the sex talk.
On the show, we go behind-the-scenes with the Girl’s Trip actress telling her mother that they would be talking about sex on the Red Table Talk.
“Oh Lord, Jesus. Talk about that on camera. Like... And certainly, you’re not gonna have Willow on this show,” responded Adrienne.
The 46-year-old responded by saying that she would be having Willow on the show and that was the whole point of it. Jada says that her daughter needed to be on that show to hear it all about sex.
“I think that people still have a very difficult time talking about sex especially women,” said Jada.
The Smith family seems to be a very open family and comfortable with talking about anything to each other. During the show Willow shares how she saw her parents engaging in sexual activities and that is how she was introduced to sex. Jada also shared that she knew the exact night her son Jaden lost his virginity.
