Cape Town - Jada Pinkett Smith has shared a throwback picture of Whitney Houston at her baby shower.
Taking to Instagram to share the post, Jada revealed that the music icon attended the baby shower thrown for her ahead of the birth of her first child, Jaden Smith, in 1998.
In her caption, Jada referred to Whitney as "down to earth" and recalled how sweet she was towards her.
"These are the only pics I have of Whitney and I. I’m pregnant with Jaden. She came to my baby shower. Whitney was so sweet, so fierce ... so real. She was funny and fun and so ... present,” the mom-of-two said.
'As talented and famous as she was... she didn’t wear it on her sleeve. Not many of us in this business can claim that... not even myself at certain points in my life. She was so down to earth... that’s what I admired about her most. If only we could have celebrated her more while she was here. You are missed Whitney???"

Whitney died in in February 2012 after being found face down in a water-filled bathtub with drug paraphernalia nearby.
A subsequent coroner report found that she died of accidental drowning.
In 2012, Jada revealed on Facebook that she had been in Costa Rica when she heard the news about the passing of the I Will Always Love You singer.>
She also showed off her artwork as a tribute to the singer.
