Jay-Z's Roc Nation has taken out full-page spreads in newspapers across the US to honour George Floyd, reports CNN.
The 46-year-old's death at the hands of police officers on 25 May has sparked outrage in the country, with many citizens, celebrities included, taking to the streets in protest.
"In dedication to George Floyd," Roc Nation shared on Instagram with the spread that quotes Martin Luther King.
The quote reads: "Only way we can really achieve freedom is to somehow hunker the fear of death. But if a man has not discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live. Deep down in our nonviolent creed is the conviction — that there are some things so dear, some things so precious, some things so eternally true, that they are worth dying for."
The quote continues: "A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right. A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice. A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true. So we're going to stand up amid horses. We're going to stand up right here, amid the billy-clubs. We're going to stand up right here amid police dogs, if they have them. We're going to stand up amid tear gas!

This isn't the first time the Carters have spoken out as things continue to escalate in the US. Beyoncé also recently took to Instagram to share a video message with fans, urging them to sign a petition to seek justice for George Floyd.
"We need justice for George Floyd," she said in the video. "We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We're broken and we're disgusted. We cannot normalise this pain. I'm not only speaking to people of colour, if you're white, black, brown, or anything in between, I'm sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of colour as less than human. We can no longer look away."
