Cape Town - It wasn’t her blue Versace gown that stole the show at this year’s Oscars.

Instead it was her mini freak-out moment at the 90^th Academy Awards that got Jennifer Garner dubbed this year's “meme queen” by social media users.

According to Daily Mail, the 45-year-old American actress was clapping with the rest of the audience when she abruptly stopped with a horrified look on her face.

It was unclear why Jennifer had this moment, but Twitter users all over the world had no problem taking a guess at what the Alias star was thinking.

Some concluded the actress had left an iron on at home, while others reckoned she’d forgotten to turn off her stove.

On Monday, Jennifer reacted to the GIF of her look and even offered her own theories on the Instagram stories.

“Congrats to Shape of Water! Maybe I should date a fish?” she jokingly commented, referring to the Guillermo del Toro-directed best picture winner.

“Hey Jimmy Kimmel, what’s in your wallet? Wait, where’s my wallet?” she added, and later: “Can’t wait to work with Lena Dunham! Wait, did I sign a nudity waiver?”
