Cape Town – Jennifer Lawrence and her mother! director have called it quits on their relationship after a year of dating.
According to Entertainment Tonight the break up occurred “last month” but the two remain friends.
They were last spotted together at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, 11 November and although they had already separated they sat together and were friendly.
In The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, released on Monday, Lawrence revealed how Aronofsky became her boyfriend.
“We just formed a friendship and then the friendship turned into a partnership for the movie, once we started working. And then once the movie was done, I was like, ‘All right! You’re my boyfriend.’”
It is not known when the podcast was recorded.
In an interview with Vogue in August, JLaw opened up about her relationship with Aronofsky, praising him for his “directness of purpose”.
