John Mayer had the cheekiest response to everything Jessica Simpson said about him in her tell-all book.
In her memoir, Open Book, the singer spoke candidly about her on-again-off-again relationship with the Gravity singer, revealing the couple got back together almost nine times. She detailed everything from John being "obsessed" with her "sexually and emotionally", to him asking her parents for her hand in marriage while she was in relationship with someone else.
"Now, here I was, ready to pledge my love back and to kiss him as the curtain came down. And it fell on my head... All this time, all those years, he was breaking up with me to torture himself enough to get good material," she wrote.

Now, appearing virtually on Watch What Happens Live, the 42-year-old is addressing what his famous ex detailed in her book, reports E! News.
"I've heard about it. I've heard some bits," he said.
"But as Pee Wee Herman says in Pee Wee's Big Adventure before the movie of his life is about to play out at the end, he's not watching the movie, and the reason he's not watching the movie, he says, 'I don't have to watch it, Dottie, I lived it.' And I think that's prescient here."
