John Newman puts on a brave face after second brain tumour diagnosis

Cape Town – John Newman has vowed to stay positive and keep working after being diagnosed with a second brain tumour.

The Love Me Again hitmaker revealed his brain tumour had grown back, four years after he had a benign tumour removed.

According to The Sun, doctors found new cancerous cells on the growth that will require surgery and radiotherapy next year.

In a statement on Twitter Newman wrote: "This was going to come out at some point...

"I have been monitored constantly since the first tumour was removed. There was always the chance that it could return and it is unfortunate but it is something I am prepared to get through when the time is right."

He added: "Nothing will ever stop me from doing the job I love so much, nothing will ever stop me from making music."
