Cape Town – The dispute between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues to escalate more than two years after their separation.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has now submitted a lengthy declaration to a Virginia courthouse in support for his defamation lawsuit against the Aquaman actress, USA Today reports.
In the documents, obtained by E! News, Depp claims Heard "painted on bruises" and accuses her of causing him "serious bodily injury" during their marriage.
"I have denied Ms. Heard's allegations vehemently since she first made them in May 2016," the document begins, according to Daily Mail. "When she walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week.
"I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life. I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman."
Depp's declaration comes after Amber asked a judge in April to dismiss a $50m defamation filed against her by Depp a month earlier.
In the motion filed in the Circuit Court of Fairfax, Virginia, Heard describes in new detail more than a dozen instances before and during their marriage when she says Depp slapped her, shoved her, pulled her hair or choked her.
