Cape Town - Julia Roberts is proof a winning smile and a banana prop are enough to make you go viral!
The Hollywood A-lister posted a hilarious clip on Instagram of herself picking up a fruit “phone” again and again, along with the message: "Hello? Happy Faux Boom Friday".
And post has already notched up more than a million views.
Turns out in the wake of popular 'boomerang' loop videos, which keep repeating a single scene, Julia (51) has invented the "faux boom".

Meanwhile, in other news the actress recently spoke out about the college admissions scandal currently rocking America, which has seen actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman charged alongside 50 other affluent parents.
While promoting her movie Ben is Back, about the relationship between a mother and her drug-addict son, Julia said it upset her that the parents involved didn’t believe in their children’s abilities.
"That to me is so sad because I feel, [as] an outsider, that it says a little bit, 'I don’t have enough faith in you,'" she said during an interview with ITV (via People).
"I feel that in Ben Is Back, this mother is trying to say, 'I have so much faith in you. I have both our faiths until you can find the faith in yourself again.'"
