Justin Bieber donates money to Chinese charity amid coronavirus pandemic

As the coronavirus continues to spread, Justin Bieber is doing what he can to support the people of China.

"What’s going on China, Justin Bieber here," he said in a video shared on his Instagram account. "I just wanted to say I know it’s a very scary time in the country right now, but my prayers of support go out to you guys, you guys are amazing."

In the caption of his post, the 25-year-old wrote, "China we stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support [you]."

According to Billboard, the donation was made to Beijing Chunmiao Children Aid Foundation.

According to People, the Yummy singer’s donation was likely inspired by a conversation he had with actor Kris Wu, as per his mention in his Instagram post.
