According to E! Online, the Love Yourself hitmaker is being sued by photographer Robert Barbera for copyright infringement over a picture he posted to Instagram.

In court documents obtained by the publication, the singer is being accused of not licensing the photograph.

"Barbera is the author of the Photograph and has at all times been the sole owner of all right, title and interest in and to the Photograph, including the copyright thereto," the documents read.

"Bieber did not license the Photograph from Barbera for his Instagram page, nor did he have Barbera's permission or consent to publish."
