Johannesburg - Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun opened up about their relationship and why he wasn’t worried that the star's engagement would affect his music career.
In a recent interview with The Guardian newspaper, the pop manager spoke about how he never considered giving up on the Love yourself hitmaker, even when he hit rock bottom in his life and career.
"I was not going to give up on him, I was not going to let him die, I was not going to put him in that position of, 'Oh, let's just keep him working,'" said Scooter.
After multiple run-ins with the law, Scooter knew that the Canadian singer was on the verge of turning his life around when he became a born-again Christian.
"At the end of the day, I would choose this result over what I was dealing with, a thousand times over. The best thing that happened to Justin Bieber is that he found God," said the founder of SB Projects.
"He was able to remove himself from being worshiped, and realise he's in service to others. Because I don't think human beings are built to be worshiped."
Scooter, who has been Justin’s manager since 2008 said that he was pleased to see him in a good place. More than anything he was really happy for Justin and his newly found faith, as well as engagement to model Hailey Baldwin – which he stated wasn’t going to stop him from furthering his music career.
