Cape Town - After dealing with yet another public break-up with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber, sources say Selena Gomez is in a much better place now.
E! News is reporting that the singer has completely moved on from Justin and “isn’t interested in getting back together with him anytime soon”.
“She respects him as a person but has decided she’s much happier doing her own thing,” one source said. “Selena rarely even talks about Justin anymore, and is fully open to dating.”
A second source added that Selena (25) and Justin (24) aren’t even speaking at the moment.
“You can never say never with her and Justin, but at the moment they aren’t in contact and she’s feeling very strong and content,” the source says.
Selena and Justin first called it quits in 2014. The got back together briefly several times, the last time being in September 2014. Before that, Selena dated singer The Weeknd for almost a year.
The latest rift between Selena and Justin happened just last month and Justin didn’t waste any time in starting to spend time with Instagram model Baskin Champion.
This E! News report comes only a day before Gomez is set to release her latest single, Back to You, which fans speculate may have been written about Bieber.
