Kanye West is no stranger to controversy.
Whether donning a “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Donald Trump or commenting that the 400 years of slavery African-Americans went through was a “choice”, Mr West certainly has no trouble expressing his unique views.
And now it seems the Gold Digger singer has decided to extend this unique life approach to his fashion choices.
While his wife, Kim Kardashian (37), flaunted her curves in a figure-hugging neon-green latex dress and wore shades, the 41-year-old was spotted wearing too-small sliders with white socks at rapper 2-Chainz’s (40) wedding to long-time girlfriend, Kesha Ward, at the Villa Casa Casuarina, Gianni Versace’s former home in Miami on 18 August, The Sun reports.
Yeezy – who donned a pale-green suit – also didn’t feel it was necessary to wear a shirt and proudly strutted about bare-chested in just his suit jacket, All4Women reports.
The rapper was mercilessly trolled on Twitter for his garish fashion sense.
“#KanyeWest shoes that he wore to 2Chains wedding is exactly what I look like when I borrow my mums slippers to nip out to the garden to get something quickly,” one user commented.
“Stop mocking Kanye West’s shoes, he’s got bunions,” added another.
“Why is Kanye West out in a suit and wearing sliders that geriatrics wear when they get deep vein thrombosis,” a third remarked.
Kanye was also seen sweeping his wife off her feet and carrying her
out of their rented Mercedes-Benz when the pair stopped to grab a post-wedding
ice cream, E! News
reports.
