Cape Town – Kate Upton has bagged the top spot on Maxim magazine's 2018 Hot 100.
The magazine announced the 25-year-old’s top spot with the unveiling of their June/July issue, which sees Kate bring the heat to a dessert on the cover.
Maxim’s Hot 100, now in it’s 18th year, celebrates “a bevy of powerful women” which includes models-of-the-moment and pop singers alike.
Of her no1 spot, Kate told Maxim: “You know, I work really hard on myself: On feeling good, working out, being strong. Being number one on the Hot 100 is a little reward for all of the hard work.”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit history maker was photographed by Gilles Bensimon on location in Israel for the special issue.

Hailey Baldwin topped the list last year with Stella Maxwell topping in 2016 and Taylor Swift landing the no1 spot in 2015.
Robert Price, Chief Operating Officer for Maxim said in a statement to E! News: “Our annual Hot 100 issue is about so much more than physical beauty, although this year's nominees have that in spades.
“Now more than ever, we need to celebrate smart, powerful women who are breaking boundaries, shattering glass ceilings and showing us what is possible—none more so than our incredibly talented cover star, Kate Upton.”
