Katy Perry was suspended from school for humping a tree she named Tom Cruise

Cape Town - Katy Perry was once suspended from school for pretending a tree was Tom Cruise and "making sexual motions" towards it.

According to Buzzfeed, Katy was 12 years old and attending a Christian school in Santa Barbara when she was forbid to attend school for three days after she was caught in an "off limits" area "practicing a skit" of some sort.

Sharing a photo of the suspension report on her Instagram Stories, Katy further revealed the incident was the last straw that led to her suspension.

Other incidents including using bad language, using the Lord's name in vain as well as playing provocative games contributed to the suspension.
