Cape Town - Kelly Clarkson was on the set of The Voice when a cyst on her ovary burst.
The songstress had barely recovered from her emergency surgery to get her appendix removed when she found herself experiencing unbearable pain, she revealed to PEOPLE.
"Blake [Shelton] was talking to me and all of the sudden, everything he said just went away and I had to grab his arm and I was like, 'Something is wrong'," said the 37-year-old.
But instead of rushing offset to get the pain checked, she decided the show must go on.
It was only after they wrapped filming that she went to the emergency room to check herself in.
"I had a giant cyst explode on my ovary!" she said. "I was hysterically laughing and crying in the ER like, 'What is happening?'"
After undergoing surgery once again, Kelly confirmed that she was "totally great now".
This second surgery comes just a few months after she had her appendix removed the morning after hosting and performing at the Billboard Music Awards while experiencing extreme pain from appendicitis in May, ET reported.
The mother-of-two is about to kick off her daytime talk show, according to Fox News.
