Cape Town - As the only member of her family not to have a child, Kendall Jenner has opened up about what it’s like being part of the ever-growing Kardashian-Jenner clan.

Speaking to her good friend singer Lana Del Rey for the June 2018 issue of Elle, Kendall jokingly shared that even she’s taken aback by how quickly her sisters are having babies.

"[The family’s] forever growing," she quips. "Every time I think it’s eased up, someone’s popping out a baby."

This year alone sisters Kim (37), Kylie (20) and Khloé (33) each had a baby girl. Kim welcomed her third bundle of joy, Chicago, via surrogate in January while Khloé welcomed a healthy baby girl, True, last month.

But it’s Kylie’s journey to motherhood that had 22-year-old Kendall most shaken, E! News reports.

"It's obviously a bit weird that your little sister is having a baby before you. I didn't expect it to happen like this. But it's beautiful."

Kendall also adds that little Stormi’s birth has brought her and Kylie closer together.

"We've always been very close, but we’d butt heads all the time. This has made her a bit more loving towards me."

One of these disagreements was over something petty when Kylie felt Kendall had stolen best friend Hailey Baldwin from her.

"She was actually best friends with Kylie, and I was good friends with her cousin Ireland [Baldwin]," Kendall recalls.

"Hailey lived in New York, and whenever we were there we’d hang out with her.

"At first, Kylie was mad. I had to bring them back together and be like, 'No, it's okay, guys.' But it's all good – that's our love story."
