Cape Town - Khloé Kardashian is receiving backlash for piercing her two-month-old daughter True’s ears.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a video of her cuddling with little True.

“Here’s my little lady. Look at my little lady,” Khloé can be heard saying in the clip. But on close inspection, fans could see the baby was wearing a pair of gold studs – and were quick to call her mom out.

“Of course @khloekardashian pierced True’s ears that whole entire family only care about how they look! I mean I’m surprised none of them have put makeup on their babies yet,” one follower commented.

“I actually find it so shocking how baby true has her ears pierced at such a young age. Poor baby,” said another.

But some followers jumped to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s defence.

“I love it!!! she looks ADORABLE!! Just like the millions of other non-celeb baby girls that get their ears pierced. People are only talking sh*t because it’s @khloekardashian !! get over yourselves!! Baby true looks so cute!!” posted one fan.

“Not a fan of @khloekardashian but seriously, she had her babies ears pierced & is being slated, come on people get a life plenty of babies have their ears pierced, it can be done from 6 weeks old. Get over it,” added another.

Khloé celebrated her birthday on Thursday with a party at her pad in Calabasas, California, together with close friends and family including Kim Kardashian and Kendell and Kylie Jenner, Metro News reports.

Kim posted a hilarious video asking Khloé’s boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, to unblock her after she’d told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres his cheating was a disgrace.
