Khloé Kardashian’s tough decision about choosing her baby’s last name

Cape Town -  Khloé Kardashian recently received some major criticism after choosing to give her newborn daughter Tristan Thompson’s last name, but according to BET the decision was not an easy one.

Sources told TMZ that the name True was chosen about a month ago by the Kardashian clan and the Thompson surname was also confirmed in Khloé’s books right until the cheating scandal broke.

When a video went viral of Thompson allegedly cheating on Khloé, it changed everything for the reality star. TMZ reports that the idea of True Thompson quickly faded after the video, which was filmed in October, surfaced days before the 33-year-old went into labour.

This left Khloé very conflicted when she had to decide between the two last names –Thompson or Kardashian. The site also reports that this went as far as Khloé putting a hold on True’s baby blanket embroidery.

Someone close to Khloé reportedly placed an order for blankets and other baby stuff at a high-end baby store in Beverly Hills, California.

TMZ was told that the order was placed when the scandal broke, with the store being told not to embroider True’s initials until Khloe made the decision, with the call coming on Monday to use the initials TT.

At the moment, E! News reports that Khloé is in no position to forgive Thompson yet, however, “Khloe has been in a daze since True was born. Everything happened really quickly, from the scandal to her water breaking shortly after, then to giving birth,” a source told the site.

“She is a bit traumatised by the situation with Tristan, and is quite embarrassed… Her and Tristan are very much still up in the air.”
