Cape Town - She’s known for her very ample assets but on Monday Kim Kardashian revealed she’s whittled her waist down to a tiny 24 inches (60.96 cm).
“It’s never been 24 ever in my life,” the 37-year-old reality star exclaimed excitedly in a video from her book club she recently posted on her app.
The revelation came about when the group which included model Chrissy Teigen, who’s preggers with baby No 2, and Kim’s sister, Kourtney, started querying her hip measurements, according to Daily Mail.
“I can’t take your hips seriously right now because your waist is so small and your hips are so big,” quipped Kourtney.
After Chrissy guessed her pal’s size at 23 inches (58.42 cm), the star’s hairdresser and pal Jen Atkin asked for her exact measurements.
Kim was hell-bent on losing the baby weight – said to be 70 pounds (around 32 kilos) – after giving birth to daughter North (4) and son Saint (2).
After Saint she embarked on the low-carb, high-protein Atkins diet and is ultra-committed to working out, training with fitness expert Melissa Alcantara six days a week.
“Kim told me, ‘I love my body. I love the way it looks and I love my hips.’
“She just wanted more muscle. She wanted bigger hamstrings, which accentuates the entire leg.
“And she wants those cut arms and abs!” Alcantara, who Kim discovered on Instagram where she goes by the handle FitGurlMel, told People magazine.
Kim has admitted in the past that returning to her pre-pregnancy figure has been a challenge: “Anyone who has had kids knows your body changes and it’s hard to get your body back in shape. It takes so much determination and mental and physical power and energy.”
