Cape Town – Kim Kardashian West enrolled in law school last year but says many still don't seem to be taking her ambitions seriously.
In her first-ever cover story for Vogue Arabia, the reality star and entrepreneur says, "There is a misconception that I don't actually have to study and that I've bought my way into getting a law degree – that's absolutely not true."
Kim's passion for her future profession started when she saw the need to help prisoners unfairly prosecuted by the criminal justice system in America. In 2018, Kim met with President Donald Trump to grant Alice Marie Johnson clemency. Alice had already been in jail for two decades at the time and was serving a life sentence.
In June last year, the president commuted her sentence.
Kim claps back in her September cover story and says her law degree is very much happening and you'll soon see her in action if she passes her exam in 2022. "Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe," she says.
