AIG - the finance and insurance company which covered the cost of Kim's stolen jewellery - claims in the lawsuit that the bodyguard and his firm left Kim alone in her room.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit also claims that there were a number of security breaches that Pascal ignored before leaving, including checking the front door intercom, which was not working at the time, and checking the front gate to the courtyard, which was missing a lock at the time.

Kim is not personally involved in the lawsuit.
