Cape Town – It would be safe to say that Kylie Jenner is probably one of the most powerful influencers in the world.
In fact, her klout is so high that just two tweets about Snapchat (trading as Snap Inc) saw the company’s stock plummet by $1.3bn.
Kylie, clearly not impressed by Snapchat’s controversial redesign, tweeted: “sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad."

According to the BBC the stocks are now back near the $17 price at which it was listed when the company floated on the stock market.
The Guardian reported on Thursday that Snapchat's redesign is here to stay despite an online petition signed by more than 1.2m users asking the company to reconsider the dramatic change.
