Cape Town - A fan of reality star Kylie Jenner’s spent thousands on plastic surgery – and he’s far from done!
James Holt (24) from Manchester, UK, has been undergoing a series of surgeries since the age of 16. The 24-year-old started off with lip fillers and has already spent a total of £14 000 (about R245 000) on lip fillers alone.
His cosmetic surgeries total £41 000 (about R717 500) so far.
Even though James’ lips have been puffed to the extent that it’s burst open, he’s still eager to do more, despite concerns voiced by his family and friends, The Sun reports.
“My friends and family aren’t best happy with the results,” James says. “They tell me I’ve gone too far, that it’s too much and that I need to stop before my lips fall off or explode.
“I know they’re thinking of me but at the end of the day it’s me who want this look, so I don’t listen,” he adds.
“Most people just look and gasp, but I’ve learned to live with that. Older people seem to be very shocked, but I don’t think they understand.”
Before getting his first lip fillers, James was insecure about his appearance.
But after having his life-changing procedures, the super-fan experienced an unexplainable sense of joy, The Mirror reports.
“I wasn’t happy with my natural look, but I feel comfortable with this fake look.
“I started when I was 16 when I found someone who would give me a lip filler, and I think it’s got better with time.
“I like going to different people to have work done because there are different techniques that they can use. It adds to my face. I always wanted to change my face after seeing celebs doing it, so I thought I’d start with my lips and getting Botox injections,” he says.
Apart from Botox and lip fillers, James has also had two nose jobs, as well as cheek and chin fillers.
But James isn’t the only Kylie-obsessed fan out there.
Kyleigh Potts (23) from Denver, Colorado in the US, also had plastic surgery done in order to look like the make-up mogul, Daily Mail reports.
In the past three years she’s had more than 40 procedures, including numerous on her lips.
“Kylie Jenner has always been my ultimate goal and inspiration. I feel like I’ve always emulated her and like her, I didn’t start out beautiful, I built myself beautiful,” says Kyleigh, who’s so far spent a whopping $75 000 (close to R1 million) on various cosmetic procedures and surgeries, including a boob job, lip fillers, a nose job and chin implant.
