Lamar Odom’s manager denies false kidnapping reports

Cape Town – Lamar Odom’s manager is shutting down speculation that the former NBA star was kidnapped.

Recent reports said that Lamar was held at gunpoint and kidnapped over a gambling debt while visiting a woman named Savanna Waldrop in Portland in June.

Lamar’s manager, Zoul El Fassi has now confirmed to E! News that it is fake news.

“The kidnapping is false, it's a lie, it's made up. He does know her [Savanna], he's not going to deny that but she was just a girl he used to party with,” Zoul said.

The 38-year-old’s publicist, Eve Sarkisyan-Nunn added that they are “aware of the false story circulating” and that the woman he was reportedly visiting is just an acquaintance.

Lamar further addressed the reports on social media, saying: “I also got lost in a rabbit hole together with my kidnappers, Rapunzel and the 7 dwarfs saved me!”
