Cape Town – After months of speculation, Liam Payne, 24, and Cheryl Cole, 35, have gone their separate ways.
The former One Direction member announced on Twitter on Sunday that he and Cheryl are going their separate ways but “still have so much love for one another.”
The couple never married, but welcomed a son named Bear in March 2017. Liam added that the 1-year-old is their main priority and asked for his privacy during their separation.
Cheryl tweeted the same statement on Sunday.

The couple were rumoured to have started dating in February 2017, Cheryl later confirmed the rumours in March with an Instagram post.
The break-up comes after months of speculation that the couple were headed for splitsville.
In an interview with Evening Standard in March, Liam admitted he and Cheryl have their struggles but go through them together as a family.
“You know, we have our struggles — like of course I’m not going to sit here and say that everything’s absolutely fine and dandy, because of course you go through different things, and that’s what a relationship is.
“But we go through them together as a family and that’s the most important thing for me.”
