And Lindsay, who is currently dating Egor Tarabasov, added: "Maybe having some of my own soon - after I get some movies done first."

Lindsay admitted she would have done some things differently in her life if she had another opportunity, but insisted she "wouldn't call things regrets, per se".

She told Vanity Fair magazine: "I can't turn back time. But if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back home to NYC earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely."

Lindsay revealed she that despite some of the challenges she has faced in her life, she is now looking forward to the future.

The actress, who has battled drug and alcohol addiction, shared: "I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles.

She explained: "I would probably say don't go too fast ... Put yourself first, and just breathe. Be happy and always be grateful for the moment you have in front of you. Be here, now."
