Cape Town - He’s in his seventies yet he’s still often seen in the gym.
Bodybuilder and movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been an inspiration to thousands of his fans.
You might think that, at some stage gravity and the march of time take their toll on all of us, but not on this muscleman. Just take a look at the 71-year-old Terminator actor’s Instagram page and you’ll see Arnold is always active, still boasting an enviable build and strong jaw.
In die 80’s few could keep up with Arnold – after all, he was the Terminator, Mr Olympia, Conan the Barbarian and later even a politician. You just have to say, “I’ll be back” and people know the character you’re quoting.
It’s almost as if this famous line from the first Terminator movie, released in 1984, was prophetic for Arnie, because it definitely wasn’t the last we’d see of him – he later appeared in films like True Lies, Junior and Batman & Robin.
From 2003 to 2011 he was the governor of California. In 2015 he presented the new Celebrity Apprentice, the reality TV series was originally hosted by Donald Trump. And these are just a few career highlights.
And the legendary bodybuilder still works up a sweat in the gym to keep looking fabulous. The hunk will visit South Africa in May as the guest speaker at the W12 Future of Water Conference 2019 in Stellenbosch.
It seems Arnold doesn’t just protect people, but also the environment and everything that goes with it.
