Cape Town - Blue Ivy is slowly becoming a star – according to her grandfather!
Mathew Knowles recently told Us Weekly he thinks Blue Ivy has a future in showbiz, just like her famous parents, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and aunt Solange.
“Blue Ivy is a star. She is just a star. I can see,” says Matthew.
“She reminds me a lot of Beyoncé and Solange when they were that age.”
The 66-year-old went on to say he has no problem supporting his granddaughter if she happens to choose a career in the limelight.
“I would support anything and everything.
“I only have one condition: Is that your passion? Is that the thing that excites you when you go to bed at night and you can’t wait until the next day?
“If it is your passion, then you have a huge chance of being successful. It can’t be what I want or what your mother and father want. It needs to be what you want to do.
“So if that was [her] passion, absolutely. I would be all for it,” he says.
As for his two well-known daughters, the record label owner says he doesn’t see them slowing down any time soon.
“I hope they are on an island that they bought and [are] just chilling, but that’s not where they’re going to be. Whatever makes them happy.
“I would think Beyoncé will be the greatest female artist of all time.
“[And] Solange will be one of the greatest entertainers of all time,” says the business owner.
And while Blue Ivy might only be 6 years old, she already has her own personal stylist and shopper.
Beyoncé’s agent recently confirmed to Women’s Wear Daily that Manuel Mendez, who’s worked for the Crazy In Love singer as her personal assistant since 2009, often styles the adorable tot.
