The You’ve Got Mail actress confirmed her happy news via a post on Instagram on Thursday after photos, obtained by Daily Mail, showed her wearing a ring on that finger.
The image shared is a drawn picture of the couple, captioned: “ENGAGED!”

Meg, 56, and John,67, have had an on-again, off-again relationship for seven years, E! News reports.
The couple started dating in 2011 and first broke up in 2014. They then got back together later the same year but broke up for a second time in 2015.
The Sleepless in Seattle actress and the Jack and Diane singer-songwriter rekindled their relationship in 2017.
According Fox News the couple’s relationship has been tested with challenges over the years, including long-distance issues, breakups and attempts to move on with new partners.
