Mel B allegedly overdosed on 200 pills in an attempt to take her life – book reveals

Mel B is currently working on her first book and it seems the former Spice Girl’s star has decided to bare it all – revealing that she tried to take her life twice, swallowing 200 pills in her second attempt.

According to reports, the 43-year-old America’s got Talent Judge, revealed in the manuscript of her book Brutally Honest that she had tried to take her own life for the second time at the age of 39.

Mel B who recently made headlines for sex addiction rumors, overdosed on 200 pills while working on X Factor in London in December 2014.  She was then disguised by a friend to avoid the paparazzi and taken to hospital where the pills were pumped out of her stomach.

It is also alleged that the suicide attempt come seven months after she found out that her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte had impregnated their former nanny.

This however, was not the first time the English songstress that recently disclosed her dyslexia diagnosis, used suicide as a cry out for help – at the age of 14 Mel B took pills in an attempt to end her life.
