Mindy Kaling wants the Duchess of Sussex to throw her daughter a birthday party

Cape Town – Mindy Kaling is moving to London before her daughter, Katherine’s first birthday and she only has one party planner in mind.

Speaking to E! News, the Mindy Project actress/writer revealed that she is moving to the UK and is going to be totally “friendless”.

“So, I'm moving to London, I'm gonna be completely friendless...Meghan Markle maybe wants to be in my life?” Mindy said, before hinting that perhaps the Duchess of Sussex could throw her daughter a first birthday party.

“Maybe she can throw the first birthday party for my daughter?”

Rumours of Mindy’s pregnancy first spread in July after her Wrinkle in Time co-star, Oprah, accidentally let it slip.

Mindy later confirmed she was expecting a baby girl on The Ellen Show. She welcomed baby Katherine on 15 December last year.

Speaking about motherhood she said: “The great thing about motherhood is that you always worry when you're pregnant, like, ‘Oh am I gonna be a good mother? I'm so busy and everything.’

“But the great thing is, you live with this person, and they creep and seep into every aspect of your life, so it's almost impossible not to be a good mom because I'm always with my baby.”
