Cape Town – Mindy Kaling has reportedly given birth to a baby girl.
E! News exclusively confirmed the actress welcomed her daughter, named Katherine Kaling, on Friday 15 December.
Reports that Mindy was expecting her first child spread in July after her Wrinkle in Time co-star, Oprah, accidentally let it slip.
The 38-year-old later confirmed she was expecting and is excited to be a mom in an interview on the Sunday edition of NBC's Today show.
In an interview on The Ellen Show on October The Mindy Project actress revealed she was expecting a baby girl.
Mindy, who is known to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, has not revealed who the father of her child is.
