Naomi Campbell lets her OCD fly and shows her pre-flight preparation

Cape Town – Naomi Campbell won't sit down in your germs, darh-ling – in fact, she refuses to even breathe in other's air unfiltered.

The British supermodel shares her pre-flight preparation with fans.

On her YouTube channel, "Being Naomi", Naomi who plans on visiting South Africa later this month , shared her pre-flight routine in her latest video, saying "I love travelling" as she got ready to board a business class seat on a commercial flight of Qatar Airways from Nice to Doha in an A350.

In the 5-minute video, Noami reveals she's just like us – after saying 'I really should not," she also falls victim to the lure of duty-free and picks up some chocolates, changing her mind and saying "You know what, I'm getting it".

Then she's off to the duty-free cosmetic section where she tests some lipstick, points out the cream that she uses, and then the magazine rack to stock up on some in-flight reading material. After that, she again succumbs to the lure of a pack of sweets.

Naomi then gets a perk not bestowed as a standard for Qatar Airways business class passengers – an executive shuttle ride to the plane.

This is where Noami goes a bit "obsessive-compulsive disorder" and lets her OCD fly as she takes aeroplane hygiene regimen to a whole new level.

In her hand luggage, Naomi has her "hydration pack", face masks, hand gloves and Dettol wipes.

Then she starts to clean, using the antibacterial surface cleaner to sterilise her seat and surrounding area. While other people buckle up and settle in, Naomi scrubs and wipes down "everything you could possibly touch" in an intense, personal space, wipe-down routine.

"This is what I do on every plane I get on. I do not care what people think of me. It's my health, and it makes me feel better."

You'd be surprised to know that Naomi travels with her own aeroplane seat covers. She buys them at the airport and changes them every week. She proceeds to put one over her business class seat – a pink one – and makes sure it's nicely tucked in.

Then Naomi will apply three different moisturising masks to her face before she will eventually put on a sanitary face mask as well to filter out possible airgerms.

"No matter what plane you take, private or commercial, as soon as the plane descends, people start coughing and sneezing. And the coughing and sneezing makes me ... I just can't."
