Nick Jonas shares details of his first date with Priyanka Chopra

Cape Town – Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are celebrating a very special anniversary – their first date.

To mark the occasion on Saturday, Nick took to Instagram with a loved-up snap and a little more detail about the night that changed their life.

"One year ago, today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends," Nick wrote.

"One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife."

The Jonas Brothers member concluded by thanking the Baywatch actress for making him smile and inspiring him to be the best version of himself.

Priyanka responded to her husband's appreciation post in the comments, writing: "The most amazing thing that ever happened to me is you. I love you babs."

The couple first met after attending the Met Gala together in 2017. Dating rumours however, only started circulating in May 2018, after they had spent all of Memorial Day weekend together.

Nick, 26, and Priyanka, 36, were engaged two months later in July and tied the knot in two elaborate wedding ceremonies in December.
