Cape Town – Gwyneth Paltrow attended the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in a semi-nude dress – and the internet can't stop talking about it.
The see-through Fendi gown was paired with flesh-toned underwear and completed with diamonds from Bulgari. Her stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, shared with InStyle that it's a celebration of "what she practices" – "her whole sense of empowerment".
"Because the dress is so sheer, it kind of makes it almost fairytale-like. It's very elegant, it's very luxe, and it's very Gwyneth."
But many disagreed.
"Gwyneth Paltrow is just straight-up naked!" one user commented, while another joked "Gwyneth Paltrow's dress is what happens to your brain and eyesight when you leave your Goop egg in too long."
Others said there were "no butts about it... Gwyneth Paltrow's ass is showing through that dress" on live TV.

But a few fans loved the daring look.
"Happy new year only to Gwyneth Paltrow's oblique," one user wrote with a picture of the 47-year-old.
