Johannesburg - While Cardi B and Offset have been working on their marriage following the rapper’s infidelity, which caused their split last year, the Migos rapper may have also learnt a valuable lesson from his mistake.
According to People, during a radio interview on The Breakfast Club, Offset revealed how afraid of losing Cardi he is and detailed how the couple are working on their marriage.
“You gotta go through steps and different things so that we can grow,” the father-of-four said before explaining how his mistake made him appreciate her even more.
“Not on the TV though, real behind-the-scenes, getting to know each other, getting to know who you're with and appreciate them all the way around. Because that one mistake made me appreciate her.”
Although Offset seems to be trying hard to win the trust of his wife back , it looks as if the couple will have to try to find other ways which don’t include marriage counseling since Cardi made it clear to Harper’s Bazaar that marriage counseling is not something she’d want to do.
“I didn’t want to go to marriage counseling. He suggested it, but it’s like, ‘I don’t want to go.’ There’s no counselor or nothing that could make me change my mind,” she said.
