Cape Town – Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters tied the knot in a secret ceremony on 20 January. Now, just 12 days later, the couple says they've decided to "take some time apart", reports People.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the Baywatch star said, "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another. Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy."
The couple has not yet filed legal paperwork to obtain their marriage certificate.
The couple reportedly met in the 80s at the Playboy Mansion, but only started dating in recent months.
Pamela was famously married to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Saloman. The American film producer was married to actor Lesley Ann Warren before he left her for Barbara Streisand. His relationship with the singer resulted in and inspired the hit film A Star Is Born, which he co-produced with Streisand, and she acted in.
He also produced the 2018 remake which starred Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
