Just 12 days after tying the knot in a secret ceremony, Pamela Anderson and her soon-to-be ex-husband, producer Jon Peters, decided to call it quits.
The couple, who said their 'I do’s' on 20 January, recently revealed they’d decided to "take some time apart".
This comes after Jon broke up with Pamela via text, Page Six reports.
According to Us Weekly, the newlyweds spent five days together before Jon decided to put an end to their nuptials by text.
In the message, the 74-year-old described their union as a "beautiful, amazing love fest," further adding, "this whole marriage thing... has scared me".
"It made me realise that at 74 I need a simple, quiet life and not an international love affair.
"Therefore, I think the best thing we can do is that I’m going to go away for a couple of days and maybe you need to go back up to Canada.
"The world knows we did it and I think now we need to go our own separate ways. I hope that you can forgive me," Jon concluded his text to his wife of less than a fortnight.
