Paris Hilton calls off wedding, splits from Chris Zylka

Cape Town – Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka have ended their relationship, 10 months after getting engaged.

According to TMZ Paris called off the engagement several weeks ago after realising he just wasn’t the one. The split was reportedly an amicable one.

Another contributing factor was that their relationship moved too quickly. A source told E! News: “Their relationship moved really quickly, and she realised he wasn't right for her. She wishes him well and hopes they can remain friends.”

Meanwhile People magazine reports that no one is surprised by the split. A source told the publication: “This wedding was never going to happen. They never had an engagement party and Chris’ parents never even met Paris’ parents.”

After deleting all traces of Chris on her social media, Paris addressed the split through the use of a quote by Marilyn Monroe.

During their relationship, Paris and Chris attended numerous public events together and packed on the PDA on social media. Chris even declared his love for Paris in July 2017, by getting a tattoo of her name on his arm, the Daily Mail reported.

It was previously reported that the former couple were planning a ‘Winter Wonderland’ wedding for 11 November. Paris however, then pushed the date back citing scheduling conflicts.
