Paris Jackson clarifies reports about her mental health

Cape Town - Paris Jackson has cleared up reports suggesting she has checked herself into a treatment facility.

While the 20-year-old acknowledged that she is taking a break from work, social media and her phone, she insisted she is feeling "better than ever" and called out the media for "exaggerating" the situation.

Reports that Paris had checked herself into a mental health facility to focus on her well-being broke on Tuesday. A source told E! News that "Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritise her physical and emotional health."

Paris added in her post that she has new music that she can't wait to share with her fans when she is ready to return.
