Cape Town - Paris Jackson (20) seems to have a particularly high pain threshold.

The starlet experienced the most pain she’s ever felt in her life after undergoing surgery to remove an abscess from her body that was the size of a golf ball on 10 August, reports US Weekly.

In a video posted on her band’s Instagram Story on Friday, Michael Jackson’s 20-year-old daughter said: “So long story short, I had surgery yesterday.”

She went on to say she had an abscess that was almost the size of a golf ball removed, adding that abscesses can go septic and can even cause death, reports People.

“But I didn’t die,” she assured the group’s followers. “They operated immediately.”

According to eMedicineHealth, a skin abscess is a localised collection of pus that develops as a result of an infection that forms under the skin.

The very next day the Gringo star was back on stage performing with her band, The Soundflowers, InStyle reports.
