Cape Town – Rumours that Issa Rae is engaged to her longtime beau Louis Diame are rife, but the actress is keeping mum.
It all started when Issa recently appeared in her Instagram Stories wearing a ring on THAT finger while showing her support for a "cruelty-free makeup industry" with Covergirl, E! News reports.
Speculation grew when Issa shared her cover for Essence magazine on Instagram on Monday, 25 March. The Insecure actress appears to be wearing the same diamond ring on her left ring finger.

Issa's Insecure co-stars Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji fuelled rumours when speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards.
"We're very excited for her," Yvonne shared.
"We all found out in different ways because we're all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways," Jay added.
Then during Monday's episode of The View, Issa and her Little co-star Marsai Martin were promoting the movie when Issa subtly brushed off engagement rumours with a general answer about her jewellery, saying: "I've got a lot of rings on my finger. I wear jewellery, you know?"

The 34-year-old appeared to address the rumours on Instagram Stories on Monday night, sharing a gif alongside the words, "I didn't announce shit."
Issa has long tried to keep her relationship out of the spotlight.
In an interview with Vogue magazine in March 2018, the writer/director dodged questions about her personal life, saying: "I don't want any input. As a writer, you put everything on the table. I'll take input on kids if I'm going to have kids. How do I not kill the kids? Work? Give me the input. Any other aspect of my life? Give me the input. But who I'm fucking? No, I don't need input. I'm good."
And, according to People, Issa and Louis' relationship has successfully remained out of the spotlight with the only details available being the businessman's multiple red carpet appearances with Issa.
