PICS: Ryan Gosling visits coffee shop after viral campaign begs him for an appearance

Cape Town – Want Ryan Gosling to make an appearance at your fav spot while he’s in town?

All you need to do is start a campaign and make it go viral on Twitter… apparently.

A coffee shop located in Toronto, called Grinder Coffee, launched a 10-day campaign on social media to get the La La Land actor to visit their shop while he’s in town for the Toronto Film Festival.

Starting on 3 September, the coffee shop’s official Twitter account began sharing photos of a Ryan cutout enjoying their coffee on location along with a little motivational message to get him there.

And well, it worked!

On Monday, Ryan attended the red carpet premiere of his latest film, First Man, at TIFF. Sharing a video of his arrival, Grinder Coffee even went as far as to share the route the actor would have to travel to get to their spot.

The very next day, Ryan walked into the store.

“The man himself showed up,” the Twitter account wrote alongside a photo of Ryan at the store.

And while Ryan did show up, the coffee shop revealed that they did the same thing in 2017 but were hoping for a visit from Idris Elba but he was a no show.
