Cape Town – Surprise! Kehlani is expecting her first child and it’s a girl!
The singer/songwriter announced that she is four months pregnant in an emotional post on Instagram of Friday, along with three stunning photos showing off her baby bump.
“If you know me, you know I’ve dreamed about motherhood since I was very young,” Kehlani wrote.
“Dearest little girl, I am so proud to be your mommy. I am so proud to have received you. I cannot wait to meet you, I know you will be 50 000 times more special than I can even imagine at this moment.”
The 23-year-old went on to reveal her excitement about plans to share her journey with her fans and followers.
She wrote: “I’m looking forward to sharing my little world with you all... my partnership with my very best friend and lover, our journey of conception, my choice for a natural home birth with my amazing midwives at @parteramidwifery and eventually... the little pumpkin!”

Speaking to Nicki Minaj during an episode of the Anaconda hitmaker’s radio show, Kehlani further revealed that the baby was planned and was conceived very quickly after she and her partner decided to get pregnant.
“It was planned so we definitely had a short time from [getting pregnant] to actually having to have sex every day. We were excited that it didn't start feeling like it was a chore.”
