Cape Town – Tom Hardy's latest role is all for a great cause - to support the REORG Jiu-Jitsu Foundation.
The Venom actor has been immortalised as a Royal Marines action figure that will be sold to raise funds for the foundation – which aims "to provide a platform for serving personnel and veterans to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as part of their recovery pathway and to combat the challenge of mental health and physical disabilities".
According to TMZ, the REORG Jiu-Jitsu Foundation made Tom one of their ambassadors in December 2018. The 41-year-old has since been assisting veterans with their physical and mental health by means of the Japanese combat training.
The action figures will be sold on the Royal Marines Charity website for about $230 each (R3 378).
