Portuguese Mayor slams Madonna over 'request to bring horse into local Palace'

Cape Town – Madonna has landed herself in hot water with the mayor of a historical Portuguese town.

The Vogue hitmaker – who has been living in Portugal since 2017 – reportedly requested to bring a thoroughbred horse into a 19th century palace to film her new music video. But her request has been declined.

According to Page Six, Madonna was filming a video for her song Indian Summer in the Quinta Nova de Assunção palace near Sintra and was reprimanded when she suggested she be filmed lying next to the horse in the entrance of the palace.
